Good to see that your making a good, honest attempt at quitting Dawn!

The list of things that smoking does to the body includes the major stuff most people know about such as cancer.

What people don't know about is the minor stuff, like accelerated aging of skin, poor cardiovascular conditioning, decreased libido with age, increased risk of pneumonia with age, anxiety, nervousness, halitosis (due to altered bacterial flora in the GI tract) etc.

Its the minor stuff that affects people day in and day out.

Not smoking in audi was a general statment not indended solely for you, but for any hot girl(s) driving an audi. Why does it seem like you will be moving from one addiction to another? lol

It's not just what smoking does to you, it's also what it does to people around you. It's not like they chose to smoke. My gf smokes, trying to quit...cause I told her I won't even think about marrying you if you still smoke...(we've been together for almost 3 years now).

i can't imagine being in a non smoker/smoker relationship - that's just wierd. i mean, you know - to be a non smoker and kissing a smoker is wierd to me..

anyways....i started quite late...22 or 23 i believe 4th year of college.

my friend randell is a doctor for kaiser and he says he's going to give me some type of "how to quit smoking" book

i'm telling my bf to quit as well...he was supposed to quit when he hit 30..now he has a few more weeks of being 30 so he better quit before he turns 31...that way it would be easier for the two of us to quit.

hopefully we dont get fat, er rather fatter (as it seems peeps who quit smoking tend to gain weight)

It's very wierd to kiss a non smoker(well it was for me) i was at some party and this girl just started to make out with me, i could tell she smoked cause her mouth tasted like a ash tray. After that little experience, it turned me off with ever getting with a smoker. I bet it would be ok if i smoked but since i don't i find it wierd
