Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
for those of you who have a boost guage installed on your B6s, where did you install it? i'd like to get a boost guage but all i'm finding is mounting it in the vents, and the AC is hard enough to direct as is...

where do you guys mount it?

After an accident you will have a boost gauge mounted in your brain. I wonder if theres any vaccum up here. Hmmmm.

that many people out there with boost gauges on their a pillars i have yet to hear a story of someone having a boost gauge lodged in their head after an accident.

Haha, I got one there on my B5. But i was told the B6's have airbags behind their A-Pillars, thus putting somehting there will get rocket propelled into their brain in an accident. Dont quote me though. :)

i read somewhere before when i was researching this topic and the airbag doesnt even open that way...if it did i would be more worried about the actual A PILLAR getting lodged in your head.

hahah... well the airbag comes down from the top left.. above the window.. its a curtain airbag.

if everyone was concerned about a boost gauge flying at ur head.. id be more worried about the pillar itself.

small cylinder vs. 4 ft long pillar. hahah...

    just a thought

So its settled, put it on your A-pillar Audidood, then your car can almost be as cool as mines.
