Unfortunately, the A6 was flying down the carpool lane, and I was in my '73 beetle doing 90mph trying to catch up. I did my best...

So later, it's 100 degrees out, and my buddy was on a mission to find an SUV. He and his fiance were recently T-boned and resulting in the loss of a MKIII VR6, some broken bones, and trauma. I saw pics of the car, and I think they are lucky to be alive. Obviously, he's now looking for something that can handle a beating. Anyways, we start on the Explorer and Expedition side of the lot. About half of the Explorers were fully modded with debadged grills, dubs, alcantara interior with air leather inserts, and carbon fiber. We were all like, "WTF"??? I was in so much shock, I forgot to take pics. The sales guy was very nice, and says that everyone these days is looking for something unique, and no longer want to buy a cooker cutter car off of the lot. Which makes sense, I guess. I recall seeing a new A8 and an R32 with OZ wheels for sale, so it must be the latest trend. Anyways, we finally test drive an Expedition. It was very comfy, and the third row had plenty of space with cupholders everywhere. But why did they have to use the same air vents as the Audi TT? Stuck in traffic, some kid is tooling around in his Porsche with a Gemballa wing.

Then we went across the street to look at Aviators and Navigators, and found this Aviator on the show room:
Purple Leather Spinners, with matching leather sub trim.

And then, dealer installed bullet proof windows.

Here are some Jaguar shots with their cheese grater grilles.
