    I'm the guy.

Forget about the Porsche place. He tried to rip me off and also took 2 weeks to get me the tool so, I refused the shipment and got my money back.

This is what I bought instead:

It's $18 so, it's too cheap to pass up. The only catch is that the opening is too skinny for the front lower balljoints so, you need to use a bench grinder to grind them wider to fit around the control arm's head.

I had trouble with one lower front arm (even with the tool). So, I put the tool on it and torqued it down tight. Then I hit the stud with an air hammer and it popped apart instantly. I'm sure a ball peen hammer would work too.

that's a good idea but, I don't think they'll be happy that you ground it out to fit your car.

jrodmk2, if you're in a bind and you need the tool badly, you can try this guy:

    http://www.9xauto.com/1114tool.html

he charged me $35 and failed to tell me that he didn't have it in stock before I ordered it.
