how do you remove the stock sub?

Well.. On the Avant, the box was behind the right panel in the back.. Just remove that panel, and unbolt the sub box from the wheel well etc (chassy?) and it just comes right out.

Im sure this isnt going to help you at all, but oh well

ah ****. its sitting in my garage. hey how do u remove the thing under the driver side to run my RCAs. how many bolts are there?

take off fuse panel. thers 2 bolts in there..

then 2 underneath the wheel..one on right and one on left side.

when u take it off watch out for the vagcom harness as well as the harness for the footwell light.

ok thanks..i go run rcas right now. if i connect the rcas to the head unit...will it disable the front speakers?

Are you talking about the kick panel, or the floor trim that goes to the rear of the car?

im talkin about the panel under the steering wheel so i can run rcas from my head unit....its okay i got it =)
