    Question Boost readings?

    What are normal boost/vacuum readings?

When cruising it varies, but if I come off the gas and am coasting it reads about 24 in/Hg (or whatever the pressure is). At lights the pressure is about 15, if idling in neutral its about 18.

First time driving with a gauge, just wondering what everyone gets for readings...post them up please!

If my rev's are above idle and I'm decelerating, I'm reading about 22-24Hg of vac.

At idle, it reads around 20Hg. At start-up, it is between 10 and 20Hg.

So what does a "stock" ecu boost at ;)

A whopping 10 psi, or there abouts.
Just an easy commute to work, haven't seen what it will spike at and stay at. But right now it looks maybe 12, then 6-8.

Feels like a waste, half the numbers on the gauge are never used.

wow i'm surprised that a stock ecu can even hit 10psi. that's not that bad, i thought it was like 6-8 psi max or something.

10 psi? I never hit 10psi when I was stock. 8 psi is what I normally hit. Of course I hit much above 10 these days.

I'll have to take a closer took tomorrow.
I definately was holding 8 on the way home at times, but thought it got up and spiked at 10. Will have to double check later.
