Can you specify what you mean? So no downpipe, only the parts after the downpipe and does this include mufflers or no?

does this bolt right onto the stock downpipe?

is it missing any parts or is it pretty much a direct bolton?

Sweet,

It includes everything except the downpipe. You'll get the resonater, mufflers, bolts and used gaskets. You can weld your stock DP to the exhaust or get a custom DP made. I'm selling it because I went with a 3" custom exhaust. I went ahead and used the NS downpipe because it was suffiecient and I didn't want a 3" DP.

Everything bolts up in the back portion, but you will have to weld the middle section to a downpipe, either your stock, NS or Custom. Fong, your's is Quattro right? Or TIP, CVT?

damn i wanted it but i have quattro. haha.. bet itd still fit though. hey for ur 3" piping.. what mufflers are u using drew? im gunna go with 3" piping all the way through and some magnaflow mufflers. also after the piping branches off are u going to use smaller piping? or just 3" from the dp all the way to the mufflers?

do u know how big the NS DP is? 2.75?

Hey Jeff,

I went with a Thermal Custom Exhaust. They're Thermal Mufflers and Resonators, not Magnaflow as some have suggested. He does use Magnaflow cats on some of his systems. It's 3" all the way back after the DP. The NS DP is a little under 2.75 I believe.

so ur saying that even after the resonators, ur piping is still 3"?? all the way to the mufflers?? i thought there was a fitment issue of 3" somewhere around the axle or something.. if u wanna reply to my thread on the b6 forum thatd be great. and also...

any performance gains u felt switching from NS to custom thermal? louder? although i must say ur setup was loud already hahah... why didnt u just have thermal pipe out resonators also? or did u want those in there...? im planning big things with engine upgrades and im getting prepped hehe.. any info u can provide would be great! thanks drew!

Anytime you go 3" you're gonna feel gains but there's a trade off, it's gonna be a bit louder. It's not 3" all the way back, just the mid pipe, I'll find out the dimensions. Plus this is custom so the price is a bit higher. I do have all new resonators and mufflers. With a bigger turbo it will quiet down a bit because it acts like a muffler as well. The NS with the Cat sounded great, your exhaust is gonna get louder with a testpipe, that's just how it is. I'm gonna go with a Cat when I get the Stage 3.
