Need advice for painting stock lowers

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
The shop that is doing some bumper repair work for me is going to throw in painting the all of the lowers with the original cost quote.

The lowers come stock with a texture effect. Can I paint right over that or does it have to be stripped down?

Just needs to be cleaned/prepped. I had mine done a couple of weeks ago.

What is considered prepping? I'm having a shop doing it - so wouldn't they prep it themselves?

Prep= They should clean it up and sand then prime it.

Any good body shop will do it. Just don't paint it. You need to prep it or all the paint will flake off....

I painted mine, it's holding up pretty well. It was pretty easy and only cost me 15 dollars, and it looks perfect. Here is some pics
