Where is the "right parking light?"

When my car starts, it tells me the right parking light is out, but none of the lights appear to be out when i walk around the car. About a month ago, I got the same message and it went away after a few days.

But i want to change the bulb now, so which one is it and where is it located?

It should be your "blinker" bulb. I don't know how the switch on the B6 is, but there should be 3 clicks. "off" "parking lights" and then "on-headlights".

When on the 2nd click, only your tail lights, and "blinker" bulbs in your headlight housing should be on. I know alot of people mod their parking lights to be "off" when on the 2nd click, and off when they have their headlights on. It looks good. But when the blinker is acuated, its still functional and legal.

Do you have E-codes or what?

I get that now and then, but with the "right rear light"

I too, couldnt find a burnt out bulb when walking around the car.. I think the bulb just doesnt sit just right sometimes, and causes a false connection..

how is that done? (sorry for the thread jack) but to have the parking lights only functional when the signal is engaged rather than always on with the headlights??

so is the "right parking light" the front or rear turn signal?
