Question Has anyone w/ Revo’s Beta software for the 2004 A4 1.8T tried the newly released one?

If so, can you please fill me in on the comparison?

    Thanks,

    Gary,

I was the Beta car for the '04 software and I can assure you, they're both awesome. However, to take full advantage of the chip, you should get a FMIC or dual setup along with an SPS3, our cars love 100 octane, but without advancing the timing it's kinda pointless. It's good stuff though.

I'd call or email David at Eurcode to find out the differences, he did the beta testing.

We already have the full version of S-line 1.8T from my local dealer. Please see this link below for the figure we obtained through butt dyno through full version vagcom.

I'm running some crazy sauce, but I've got the FMIC, Power Gasket, the car doesn't surge at all, hitting 1.7 bar. No idle issues.

well nice ..... i'm running it straight at low boost 6 and only with an intake and DV ... the FMIC is gonna be on next month as well as my custom exhaust .... hopefully it should stop the surging that goes on every now and then on hot days.

The FMIC will make all the difference. You going with a turbo upgrade?

i'll probably buy all the hardware (manifold, turbo, gaskets, oil lines, etc) from ATP since they are local and i've known them for a very long time. As for the software I will go with REVO and get something from them.

    Guys,

The code from Revo resolved the idle problem and the car is running more smooth than the beta version. Believe you all should be happy.

I set at LB9 and T7 as I'm using ron 98 fuel in here. Believe I can set at HB2-3 upon the FMIC installed.
