    Dynamic Headlight Range error

I amgetting the error on the cluster which is the cirlce with exclamation and 2 arrows. Its the light leveler or something. Lights do not level anymroe hwen i turn on the car. I beleive the problem is because i turnred on the car when the headlights were not plugged into thier harnesses. Since then i can't get rid of it. A4turbo and i tried clearing it tonite, but we couldn't get at the code. We read somewhere that it was address 55 or something, but it iddn't work. Has anyone cleared this? We also did a full scan and nothing came up. Also disconected the battery and waited a few minutes, that didn't clear it either. Anyone know?

ya its wierd.. i checked every address and nuttin came up.. and when i try and check address 55 (where we had read on audiworld thats the address where the codes should have been thrown) it wouldn't connect to address 55 like there was nuttin there.. i dunno.. is this something that the dealership can only clear? like do they have to be recalibrated? i'd like to know for future reference.. sum1 has to know something on this..

What kind of VAG-COM cable where you using? 55 - Headlight Range is listed on the K2 line. So you will need a VAG-COM that supports dual-K lines.

you can't just clear the code.. you have to relearn the postion of the xenons. I forget how to do it, but it is the headlight range you go to measuring blocks I think and it learns, then you can clear the codes..I did it once to my car.

give me a call, I don't have a laptop to run my vag but I do have my computer in my garage to run it. I will go out and see if I remember how to clear it.

Ok this should be how you do it, if you have access to a vag, go into 55 xenon range. Then into adatption, once in there go to channel 2 and press test then apply. Then you should be able to clear the code.
