PS2 help.. DVD's wont work??

Alrighty.. So i dont use my PS2 very often, just cuz im usually busy.. Well, i can play games on it, but it wont play DVD's.. The games load, but the DVD's all say "disk error" and then thats it..

wft do i need to do?

Ok weird.. I managed to get some of the DVD's to play, but not others..

AND of course, the ones that work AREN'T the ones i want to watch

look on google about ps2 disk errors, I had a problem with my games because the ps2 made this grinding sound like something was stuck so i googled how to take it apart and found something about disk error and I think you have to take it apart and clean the lens with alcohol and a q tip or something like that, I didnt have to do this since that wasnt my problem but google your problem, I think its pretty common on earlier ps2 models.
