ok geniouses, I'm getting the following code:

    VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N

    Control Module Part Number:
    Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT G01 0003
    Software Coding: 0016501
    Work Shop Code: WSC 63351
    1 Fault Found:
17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor: B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High
    P1114 - 008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

I clear it and it comes back after 4-6 weeks.

I know it's related to an O2 sensor going bad or problems with the sensor wiring and that it probably isn't serious.

My next scheduled visit to the dealer is a couple of months away. Is it safe to wait a couple of months or should I take it in earlier?
    TIA

take it in and tell them to check the sensors.. what made the code come up? did u do a gauge install? or tap that sensor for any reason? sensor jsut might have went bad.. replace it and u should be ok..

Yeah I know I'll have to take it in but was wondering if I could wait a couple of months until my next scheduled maintenance.

I guess if it was something serious I would get a light so I'll probably wait.

As you are aware Turbo, we always have to pay attention to the light...don't we?

    dealer time.

I believe it is the rear O2 sensor, post catalytic converter.
