Here is the thing. i drive a 98.5 a4 quattro turbo manual. its a rare color and i love it. problem is, it has 105,000 miles and all of a sudden everything is breaking. i have an aftermarket warranty and even though they said as long as its not excluded they would fix it. not the case. took it by the dealer to get my air conditioning fixed and find out that i have an oil leak and the problem is a cam seal. also my left cv boot is going and a couple of other things are messed up. the total is more then 2,000 and i cant justify putting that amount of money into a car that is worth about 5 times that. so, what would you do...would you trade it in for something else....repair it? let me know...i need some help.

I would take somewhere other than the dealer to get it fixed. You should be able to get it fixed for cheaper.

By the way what did the warranty say as to why they won't cover those things?

Get it fixed at the cheapest(but respectable) shop, and then sell it. I just got rid of my A4 with 115K on it, and now driving a MKIV GTI with less than half that many miles. It feels great driving a newer car.

If you like the car don't sell it, $2k doesn't seem at all too high for repairs. I would see what you could fix yourself and then after that find a good, non-dealership, place to repair the others. I would take a A4 over a GTI anyday, chicks really love the sexy Audi

    Oh.

Getting a newer A4 would have been impractical for me. I needed something faster in stock form, cause' I have no mod money. Plus something with a warranty. Plus insurance costs and total car price. There are a grip of reasons I didn't get another A4. I wish I could have though.

Just stating the reasons why i didnt get another A4.

I would suggest fileing a complaint with the Attorney General of the state that your warranty company is out of that's what I did when my warranty co tried to deny a claim and they paid it.

Don't do that work at the dealer, rip off, get a good mechanic to do the job for you and you will save lots of money.
