Lightbulb Easy "Mod" - DIY Armrest Coin Holder - Pictures

Not sure if this has been posted before but I think I found an OEM, easy way to store loose change in the armrest.

1.) Open up your ashtray and pop out the black plastic part that you can empty (slide your finger into the notch on the left and pull out)
2.) Open armrest, turn the ash holder that you popped out so that the slanted portion with the light cover faces forward.
3.) If you push down and forward on the ash holder into the front end of your armrest, it should fit in there snugly.
4.) Use either double-sided tape or padding on the front/sides to ensure a tight fit. I padded mine all the way around with a soft, satin pen case so that the holder doesn't fall out and the stuff inside my armrest doesn't clatter against the holder.

It looks nice and clean - and at night, the red LED armrest light reflects off of it.

The only problem is if you lift the arm rest all the way up vertically or lift it up and down very forcefully/fast, the coins can spill out.
