greddy might be a little much for the k04. you will see bigger pressure drops, its damn nice tho if installed right, im in the same boat as you and so far my options are evo front mount which i will most likely get or the abt one wich is one of the better ones for the a4 special for a k04 app. if you talk to steven at ams he will sell it for a grand. at least to me he will so if he wont sell it to you that cheap i will go and buy it for you if you pay for gas. ams is about 30-40 miles from me

Hey you might want to look into running two side mounted ic (SMIC). The germans do this a lot with A4s and TTs. The thing about getting a FMIC is ventilation. You mentioned an S4 bumbper and thats good because you will need to worry air flow. With that being said the air flow into the wheel well isn't that great either.

Is better to get FMIC vs SMIC. I would look into SPP's FMIC also. I'm looking for an intercooler also and i really like the Greddy one. Some say due to its size and have alot of pressure drop, i'm no too sure on that. I believe DVS1.8T or his friend has a Greddy one and he could give u more info on that. I would like to know if the Greddy one cause alot of pressure drop

Yea, boost. I think one guy here was running one and it only holds @ 15psi. Could be b/c the FMIC 1/2 of it was up the bumper. I think he got that fix now. Right ??

If you're willing to wait for the production line to get fired back up... duh engineering. Quality well worth the cost

Full hardpipe from turbo to throttle body

    boost pressure bung

Optional Wiggin's clamps (yes they are wiggins clamps)

i'm running the greddy fmic, just had it lower to fill in the rs4 bumber. the l brackets that it came with r not long enough makes it sit high, but with stock bumber it might be ok. as for pressure drop didn't notice much difference holden around 16-17psi. overall i'm happy with it looks good fills up the bumber nicely and had all the pipes polished nice and shiny. oh yeah had to do some trimming for it fit behind bumber

i am seeing about 1.5-2 psi of pressure drop with this one... i really dont understand why people think that this kit is not a good one i love it. but like nismo said i dont know that it is really needed for a k04 imo this is for a bigger turbo then any KKK turbo that fits on an A4... the duh is also a good kit but i would say its also too big for a KKK set up as both of these cores can take more CFM than those little turbos can flow.... you might want to look in to the EVO or the ABT, you could settle for an SPP but i wouldnt. thats just imho.
