While I do miss the A4's styling, I don't miss how crappy the paint was on it. Or how slow it was. Or the squeaky control arm, or the bald tires, or the engine pinging, or the broken drivers seta mount, or the broken sunroof, or the dirty carpet or the grey seats, or the shitty handling....
My new car is a 2000 VW Golf GTI GLX. Fully loaded, including heated seats minus power. Which isn't a big deal. It's got full black interior with real leather seats. The VR6 is so much smoother and faster in this car. It's small so it's handling is far better than the A4, however it's still pretty mushy. Suspenion comes later. The 15's im rocking right now, just aren't going to cut it. Plans for black 18" or 19" Flik's in the future. I know I need to get clear side markers BIG TIME! The city lights are definantly more white in person. It's got the monsoon stereo with 6 disk in the back. However the catridge is missing, i got one lined up though.
Overall. I'm glad I made the switch, especially since i have 3 year, B to B warranty on the bitch. Could have gotten a better price probly, but these people bent over backwards to make this thing work for me. So, i just took it. Everytime I see a nice A4 or S4 though, i get sick thinking how much I love the styling. But, i'll keep it for a couple years. Hopefully by then, i'll be making good enough money to sell it and get a B5 S4 or B6 A4. :)

Here are some group shots of a small recent GTG we had last weekend. That yellow 20th is off the hook! He custom made a splitter, and it looks super sweet.

This one was of the cruise we went on the day before the previous pics.
