a buddy of mine has one on a MX-5 and his advice would be not to park too close to parking curbs. His cracked off when he brushed one. they don't seem to have much give at all (well, the one he had anyway).

it would be ok to get one if it is thick fiberglass, the ones on civics and such are thin which is why you hear bad things about them, many people on this forum are running rs4 replicas and havent had a problem because of their thick construction. corvetes are made of thick fiberglass and they are stock that way.

Most good kits (and the ones members here use) are made of ABS plastic, not fiberglass.

Fiberglass cracks and splits, boooo. Thats why I spent the extra buck and got ABS. Do it once, do it right. By the way anyone have Purim bumper? Wondering how the durability is on em. I heard its better than ABS.
