Question Does Ultrasport Package Cover by the Factory Warranty?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I just currently find out that there's a little tiny paint crack on my ultrasport front lip were cause by the stones on freeway, and now I had a little chipped cracks! What I gonna do? Can I bring it to the dealer to fix it under the warranty cover or body shop for my own expense? I just brought the car for 3 months, Ultrasport package was included when the time I bought the car. Is it under 1 year of warranty for all accessories that I bought from the dealer? Anyone has a comments or thoughts?

wear and tear usually isn't covered...if it's something that's related to worksmanship where the paint is chipping or lifting on it's on then u have a case...but stone chips are not covered.

However after thinking bout it..a stone chip wouldn't necessarily cause the rest of the painted area around it to chip away or crack. What the hell can't hurt to try.

i never change the springs, I just only stick with the ultrasport package springs. it's not a whole area to chip away crack, it's just a little chip that peel a little paint out, very tiny!! is it ok for dealer to cover this under warranty?

I just find out this from Audi official web:
"What is the warranty on Audi accessories?
All Audi Accessories are covered by the Audi Accessories limited warranty.

I had my roof repainted because the clearcoat was chipping. It wasn't easy, and you have to get approval from your area rep, not from your dealership.

holy run on sentences batman. J/k! if i understand correctly, it's just a paint chip from road debris and will more likely that it will not be covered.
