Insurance will over everything, but you have to pay your deductible, and risk you premiums going up if you report it.

exactly, when i first got my car i got my hood keyed and was going to go through insurance but i didn't want to pay any more than i had to. so thats why i'm in the GB for the CF hood

Same thing as when you park in two parking spots at the very end of the parking lot - miles from anyone - and the some prick leaves you a note telling you why you shouldn't take two spots just because you have a nice car.

Thats a good response, but the a**hole would probably then key his car just out of spite. There are some big time pricks out there who are just jealous because they cant afford or keep a decent car. I feel for you mate.

Same exact deal where I live.... kids run around messing with everybody's stuff especially cars and the parents swear little Timmy would never do such a thing even though we catch them red handed all the time...

Isn't parking far away enough? Taking two spots is kind of vulgar. Especially since you drive your own car and it's an a4. Maybe if you had a driver, you could have him park your rolls in two spaces but not an entry level lux midsize...

I parked near the end of the parking lot at the Vally mall here once. Took up two spots. When i came back out about, 45 mins later, 3 cars had tried to box me in. One of them left a note on my windsheild saying "as far as your parking is concerned, your a ****ing asshole". I laughed. And then took all three of their front license plates.

The people were already mad at you, tried to box you in, wrote you a note and you still got them worse than they got you. Thats awesome, I wish I could have seen it.

I hate little fu$%ers that do that crap. My dad has a vintage 70 Karmann Ghia and some quer keyed the front fender! and the same thing with my car! Its sad for awhile but then i laugh because the a$$ who keyed it doesnt have anything nearly as good as us!

But, i don't respect any one taking up more than one parking space regards how nice you think your car is! remember some one always has a nicer car than the next person.

If caught vandalizing a vehicle I believe the male counterparts should be castrated, the females well they should have their head shaved. I dont see it as being fun in any way. I look at 911s, 360s and SLs on a daily basis and man Im jealous, but it only makes me work harder so I can rock one of those super machines one day...some people need an attitude adjustment.

Messing with someones car for no reason is absolutely uncalled for. If you mess with mine, retaliation is eminent. Do not *u*kwith my car. Wether you try to box me in, or you floss your flow hole all over my window. Stay the f*c* away from my car.

As far as taking up two spaces goes. I agree that it is absolutely justified if A. The person has a car they are proud of. and B. If they park far enough away to have it not be a problem. If you park in the middle of eveyone crooked, I'll come and snatch your plates! ;-)

Sorry to hear that! Someone decided to run their fingernail across my Invinca- Shield (plastic body protection). I didn't see it till I washed the car the other day(too late). I gotta tell yah if I saw someone doing that to my car I would (f)uck them up sooo bad they couldn't walk again. Same goes if they messed with my wife or my dogs!

I've thought about buying (stealing???) some orange construction cones and plac them around the car. Pretty sure that that will get me keyed.

I've had it happen three times now and the nearest car to me was over twenty spots away. People need to get a life.

Guess I should have clarified here. I always prefer to park with one side being a curb area. So instead of tucking it in really tight to the curb, I'll be sitting on the line or 12" over it. Also, my parking is not crooked.

I somewhat see your point, however being as I made the choice to take the long walk, no one else parks within twenty spots, and therefore I have allowed these people with "nicer" cars to park closer - I fail to see how this is rude.

So the person parking like this is so rude that they deserve to get keyed for being extra carefull in a considerate manner? You are the type person that some day I hope to catch doing a keying and I would sue the shit out of of them and make sure that they were prosecuted.

Keep in mind that your point of view is being used as an example here and I am not lashing out at personally, but speaking to that mindset.

The little B******S in my area now know that if they touch my car, then some serious s*** is gonna fly. I caught one of the little dears "playing around" with one of my wheels ( he was just about to score it with a lump of chalk) so I got to him before he did anything and dragged him over to his mother, and told her in no uncertain terms that I wasn't gonna put up with it anymore. She started getting mouthy so I called the police and they told her that I was perfectly within my rights to sue HER for criminal damage. It shut her up and has also had the effect of keeping most of the little bas****s away from my car. The downside to it is that you always get 1 or 2 trying their luck. Believe me, I will give them the hiding of their life if I catch them trying anything.

Just tell them you believe Timmy would never do such a thing but if you catch him your going to F@#K the little up.

I always try to avoid these situations by not double parking, don't park in tight places, don't steel some ones parking space. Don't try to hurry up a beat the other person for a parking spot. Try not to eye anyone while parking etc etc.
