i am noticing that when i drive, the tire noise is really loud. i mean it sounds as if the car is riding on thin tires(i check the pressure and all 4 tires are around 36psi). I could hear the wheels rolling over the road..not sure if i explained it correctly.
i have 04.5 a4 w/ ultrasports. has anyone experienced what i am talking about.
    any info would be appreciated..thx

If your alignment is off tires will develop an abnormal wear pattern and that can cause tire noise.

That situation can be corrected by fixing the alignment problem and rotating the tires (front right to rear left, etc)

I am hearing the noise from my rear tires..My car is only 3months old. is it possible that the dealer never made sure the car was aligned correctly?

take your car back to the dealer and tell them about your tire problem. they should fix it, and if it just needs alignment then the dealer can do that no problem.

are you on contisport contacts? that's really odd for them to be cupping already unless the alignment is off. cupping is what usually occurs where every other tread block is higher than the other thereby creating this loud ass noise quite annoying.

Most likely your alignment is off.. if your care is lowered, running over rail road tracs will throw your alignment.... have the dealer hook you up with an alignment...
