Where's a good place to get tinting done in San Mateo County area?

Looking to do my front and rear windows 35%, and the back window 15-20%. Called Best Image in San Mateo and they said $250. I know that's on the high side. Anyone have sugestions for good shops in the San Mateo area within a 15-20 mile radius? I'd be happier and more interested if the price was $200 or below for the 7-window tint intall. Thanks.

Damn.. Best Image raised their prices big time. I called also and it was 250. I brought my bimmer and my friend and her X5 and we got them both done for 180 each.


If you bring a friend with you they should drop the price.

There is this place in Belmont call Auto Image they are window tinting specialist. Gave them a try.

really?? you might have just talked to the wrong person. You gotta do some negotions and make your own price. When I got my tint done there, i didnt ask how much it would cost. I came in, said I want tint, choosed the shade, then said "you can do it for $120 right?" and the guy said yes without hesitation. But then again, we brought alot of customers into that place. So i guess its referral discount.

I hear ya on bargaining....I've done my last two C5 vettes there and they did them for a good price. I know it's best by showing up in person, and telling them you'll pay cash. Just wanted to see if anyone had any leads out there. I'll probably just go there again, and tell them to give me a good price or I'll just go somewhere else.
