cntrl arms done, but new squeek???

I got all 8 of my arms replaced about 2-3 weeks ago. Everything was great. Car felt more solid and no more squeeks, creeks and clunks, but......now there's squeeking again from the font end. Just noticed this 2 days ago. I would only hear it when I'm coming to a complete stop. It also squeeks when I push down on the front end. I called the shop that did my arms and he said it's most likely the shocks. The car has about 104,000 kms on it and I'm using the stock suspension. Any input on this guys? Thanks.

Sometimes the sqeaking is not from COntrol Arm. My rear does that and it was from my COs and sway bar busings. Lub up the bushings and see, but if it rains alot like in Seattle, it sqeaks anyway later

If you're still on stock suspension with that many miles, maybe it's a good time to consider upgrading (shocks, but also springs for looks and handling)

That kind of milage,, you should try replacing at least the shocks. But I am willing to bet the new noise is one of your new bushings, they probably didn't grease them very well before installing the arms. Spray some WD40 all over the controll arm bushings if the sound goes away for a day or two thats it.

I don't think the milage is too high. In case u didn't see, I have about 104,000 kms, not miles. So I would say that's about 60,000 miles.

As for spraying some WD40, I'll definately give that a try.

I when i first got my car, at 41k, it squeeked and like blackknight, my rear squeeks also. my front do too. I sounds like the squeeking is coming from the say bar bushings or the bushing that are helping compress the coil spring.

wd40 is a solvent and will remove any medium weight grease that is already in place so regardless of whether it diagnoses the problem you will need to regrease that bushing.

Hmmm Is it a squeak or more of a squish sound?

A squish sound is your shocks...

it's more of a squeek. It only happens when I'm coming to a complete stop. What I've also noticed is when I'm backing up and stop, there's no squeek at all. It's only when I'm stopping while going forward.
I tried WD40 as some of you have suggested, but it still squeeks. Maybe I'm missing some of the bushings. The only ones I sprayed are the ones that are visible, which is right in the wheel well. Are there more underneath?
