    REVOed SK04 Vs. A6 4.2 (from roll)

Raced A6 4.2 last night from roll (my car is FWD) 30-90 mph.

    First set of runs
In second gear I pull on A6 aprox 1/2 car length, shift to third at 6K rpm and then get smoked by aprox. 2 1/2 cars till 90mph
Repeated this 3 more times with similar results.

    Second set of runs
Fourth gear from 65mph till 6K rpm pull on it 1/2 car shift in 5th and keep pulling to almost full car length till 130 mph.
Repeated 3 more times with same results.

I was wondering why do I loose so much power in 3rd gear, and today it hit me.
Last week I pulled out my AWE boost gauge to get it replace, and of course I forgot to plug up the boost gauge hose.
Fixed that and called my friend to do few more runs.

We did 2 runs both from 30-90 mph, and guess what....
In second I pull on it 1/2 car length, in third we are dead even.
    same results second time.

This is with stock clutch that started slipping, full spare tire, child seat and trunk full of my kids toys.

I pulled on 323 with just the chip so I guess 330 shouldnt be that big of a deal.
330 ci power to weigh is 14.60

If you are dead even with the A6 4.2, then you would lose to the 330 since, by your calculations, the P to W ratio on the 330 is higher... right?

Nice job Dejan. You mean weight to power, not power to weight. Whatever.

Weight/Power is the number you were providing. Where did u get these numbers from?

how did you drop 150 lbs on your car? I know you have an aftermarket exhaust, test pipe and fmic, but did you really save that much weight?

how much does that baby seat weigh? :)
