2 problems right now with my IE browser.

whenever i click a "link" it doesn't open up a new window. it almost does, then it disappears very quickly. then on my 2nd click, it does open up a link.

2nd problem is whenever i hit "back" button, it brings back the screen from the top of the screen. Not middle of the screen where i was.

i have been trying to re install the IE but i failed.

    i need your help...

I'm not an expert, but I had similar problems.

Do you have a pop-up blocker installed? If so, try uninstalling it.

When I had my issues, I ended up having to reintall my entire OS. I tried everything, but I had problem whenever I tried to click a link that requested to spawn a new window. Everytime it would just pull a blank window, and then freeze up. But, if I'd right click the link, and copy and paste the URL in a new window, it would work fine. After endless headaches, and trying to reinstall IE a bunch of times, I just re-installed Windows, and that fixed it.

But, word of advice: If you do reinstall your OS, make sure to back-up EVERYTHING. I didn't realize how much I missed when I did it. I lost lots of stuff I wanted.

Question: If I download and install FireFox, will it affect my IE? Meaning, can I just go back and forth between the two? Or will I have to first uninstall IE?

Cool. I just downloaded. Have you used the Thunderbird email client? I may try out that as well.
