Guys I ran into a big puddle last night, my car wouldn;t start.. after some work i finaly started it. 36 hours later.... Now my car has a viabration :( If i listen to the engine work sounds like like the valves needed to be re adjusted or something metal hitting metal sounds not to load.

2.8 L engine. 1999 any ideas what to do? I am thinking like most cars you can adjust the valves, can you do it with the audi engine?

I'm confused as to what actually happened.

Usually if water got inside the engine bay it would be an electrical issue. Do you think you may have sucked some water into the intake? If so, then it may cause hydrolock.
