Want to buy B6 Avant, model Questions

Looking at buying B6 avant, would want 1.8t engine with six speed, but would like to buy with around 30k miles on it. Is this year the first for six speed or 2004 too? I would want S4 hids, do they all come with hids or should i look for one without the option to save money? Anything else i should know option/year wise before buying?

04 was the first year w/ 6spd you'd be hard pressed to find a car with 30k on it for an 04. how much are you looking to pay?

up to 28k probably, i might wait until i find some with more mileage and the price comes down, i was looking into buying a b5 s4 up to 28k to spend , but after seeing that oettinger avant i have decided to go with the B6, do you think its worth it to wait for the six speed, i have seen 2002 avants in the low twenties with under 40k miles on them compared to a 2004 for around 30k, then i will have to worry more about warranty when modding
