I hate my audi POS

Well, I went from a Honda (Acura CL Type S) which was faster to the A4. Why? The Acura was reliable but it had no character. It was bland as hell.

I love my Audi, and yes, there are its fair share of problems, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Plus your car looks hella nicE!!! Looks a HUNDRED times better than any Honda could - cept maybe an NSX!

anyway, things that broke so far...
1. glove box fell off.
2. roof squeak.
3. brake squeak.
4. oil pump failed
5. radiator temp gauge broke.
6. fuel pump failed.
7. Coil Pack.
8. brake line frozed.
9. windshield washer broke.
10. Radio changed 3 times.

i dont think any of these problems are related to my mods.

anyway, i love my audi. it looks so nice but too many problems.

you got every broken thing changed? how's your car running now?

ya know that Acuras have tranny issues? Some owners have been through 4 trannys within 3 years. (i used to have a TL-S but sold it quick) Plus the car was a rattle whore. (only15k miles)

Basicly what im saying is no car is perfect.

right now... fuel pump needs to be fixed. it's whining so much.
the only thing i was very concerned was Oil pump.
Oil pump failure can fvck up the whole car.
and this oil pump failure is common to these A4s especially 1.8T's.
luckly alot of people had no problem getting car fixed under warranty, howerver couple of them (after 50K miles) had their oil pump failed and estimate to cost them were around 8000 dollars.

what are the signs of a failing oil pump??? or does it just die out on you?

when you have oil pump failure, you will get "oil pressure check" sign in orange color. (i think)
and when you acutally check your oil, it is fine. no problem.
but if you insist driving your car, it will eventually die and kill your engine/turbo which costs over $ 7000 to fix. and if it happens after your warranty is over, u are over. LOL

i know many many people with B6 A4's had Oil pump failures between 40k~50K miles. and others at random miles

that's scary. check your oil after the signal lights up and the cars clear to go. and then drive it, the oil pump fails. if you have your car checked out by the dealer for that oil presure check and they clear your car, that should be their fault... right.

no matter what...
oil pump failure will be covered by warranty.
it's a common problem for our cars

Yeah honda was much more reliable..but luckily my a4 is holding up A okay....whew *knock on wood*
