Roof Rack Perference: THULE or YAKIMA??

Well I'm torn between the two. Shopping for one and can't decide! I used to have a Yakima roof rack 2.5 years ago, sold it, now I'm getting back into biking.

I went Yakima, and got an old style fairing so it sits right on the window. I really like the look of the setup.

GO with the Thule system. At least Sweden or wherever is closer to Germany than Yakima Washington.

yakima rack w/ old yakima fairing. seems to be a bit bigger than the thule i think you recommended a while back onemoremile, but still looks aight. i have it off right now but the only thing holding me back is a blown rear tire on my bike. i know that can't be too expensive to fix but i've just been kinda lazy.

after seeing some of yours i think i may have the fairing tilted up too high. i'll have to mess with it when i put it back on.

My setup looks just like this, except I moved the rack a couple inches forward so the fairing rests along the top of the window instead of the paint. I'll try to snap some photos tonight when off for the ride.
