Feeler: Plug'N'Play Aftermarket speaker setup for B5 A4/S4

(I'm 60% sure I'll be selling this system in the next 3 or 4 weeks)

This setup will easily run off a Symphony or Concert Headunit and fit in both Bose and Non-Bose cars.
(I am currently running it off my Concert HU in my 99.5 A4)

The Speakers
MBQ DSD210 4" components (for the front)
MBQ DKD 116 6.5 speakers (for rear deck)
The Amps
Alpine MRP-F240 4 channel amp
Alpine MRP-M350 mono amp

The box:
Custom made by a professional shop to fit the B5 sedan trunk. It fits perfectly snug, no mounting harware required. It does not shift AT ALL.

Right now I plan on keeping the sub but not the box. The box can hold any 10" sub and is perfectly sized for a JL 10w3.

This system would be a direct plug and play setup. And will save you the time and trouble of piecing together your own system (anyone who has done it, knows that speaker shopping can be a royal PITA).

I have had the system for 6 months. And still have all the original boxes. I don't play my music excessively loud. I love the setup but I have decided I want something different. Anyone local is more than welcome to come hear it.

The cheapest you'd be able to build a similar system (without buying the cheap refurbished junk on ebay) without the custom box, would be around $800. I'm willing to sell everything- all wires, speakers w/mounting hardware, box,and amps- for ~$600, I am rather flexible on the price though.

I want something different and I need the trunk space since I'll be doing a lot more driving moving stuff back and forth from school and home. The box only takes up about 30% of the trunk space, but I need the ability to run stuff through when the seats are folded down. there's enough space at the top for skis though.

I'm gonna guess shipping is gonna be around $70 maybe a little less. I'm sure it would be cheaper if they were sent through greyhound. It's not increadibly heavy, the front face of the box that holds the amps is just a dummy wall, there's nothing behind the amps.

Depending on the amount of interest there is for the system, I can start pulling it out, and building my new one.

Are those 4" front speakers mounted with an adapter ring or are they just attached with 2 of the 4 mounting holes?

I used metal strapping to mount them, 3 of the 4 mounting points on the speakers are used. But IIRC I may have the actual adapters in the box they came in, I'll double check.

my guess is gonna be something like $50-60 ground. Everything probably weighs in around 40lbs or so, and the required shipping box would be rather large. once the system is out (some time in the next couple weeks) I can give a more exact estimate.

I'm still trying to sort out this local deal. But if I pieced it out I'd sell the speakers for a very low price. I'll let you know once I'm sure what's happening with this local thing
