I bought the 80W H7 Superwhite bulbs from SPP, (Good improvement over stock) but my left bulb has already gone out.
Ive only had em in for a month and a half. Poor Quallity. i would expect a little more than that.

when you're running a higher wattage bulb the life expectancy isn't that long so hit up SPP and they'll warranty it.

I got a set of their SuperBlue 55W H7s awhile back. And one of them died in a few weeks. (No I never touched it, yes I wiped it off with alcohol before install) Eric said those particular bulbs were not warrantied,, and that if I wanted he would do a discount on the next set of their new 55w ones that are warantied. I never got around to it,, but non the less SPP will take care of you.

First of all be sure not to touch them before install, and avoid whiping them too. I ran the 55w for about 8 months then one blew out but my fogs are usually always on so I use them alot.
I have been using the new 80w H7s for my fogs for the last 4-5 months with no problems either. I helped my brother install them on his fogs and his knuckle barely touched the glass and sure enough 2 months later that side was out.

Yes SPP does have a 1year warranty on them, take advantage of it.

    second of all you said...

"I asked SPP before i bought 80W if they were cool to run in my low beams and they said sure."

So you're running the H7 80w in your head lights? The only place for replacement from what I understand is HIGH beams and FOG lights. However I may be wrong, just double check with Eric to make sure.

Yes, never touch the bulb with your hand. Use a cloth to handle the bulb, otherwise it will not last long.

Also, I've heard horror stories of people frying the wiring by using higher wattage bulbs.

I have the Phillips BlueVisions, 55w. I'm very happy with them. (contrary to the name, there's nothing blue about them).
