How wide can you go on B6 S4 ???

I want to put wider wheels and tires on my '04 S4 sedan. Quesetions:

1. What is the widest 18" wheel that will comfortably fit?

2. What is the widest 18" tire that will fit without modification of the wheel well?

3. How big a deal is it to modify the wheel well to accomodate a wider tire?

4. Can I put wider tires on the rear? The owner's manual says no due to the awd system, but the 911 4S has awd and it runs much wider tires on the rear.

i dont think that you would have problems fitting 265 tires in the back but i dont know about the front.

265/30/ in the rear and 225/35/ in the front and you shouldnt rub at all.
