    Hi all,

    I have a 04 A4 3.0 6MT, and am having a funny problem...

The center arm rest between the drive and passanger seat, in my car makes a lot of clicking and ticking noises. Mostly when i go over uneven surfaces....I had given it to the dealer and they tried fixing it...but were successful only partially...The arm rest still ticks and clicks but not as before...

I don't want to get rid of it as it is good to have it when driving a manual......

The noises are very irritating ....does anyone know how to get rid of them .... or it is part of the Audi package.....

You could remove the cupholder from the armrest and see if that solves the problem. Other than that I can't think of any potential source for the sounds you describe.
