No, they are not as easy to mod as the 1.8T.

Yes, they come with leather.

Yes, they are a more reliable engine (long term).

PES is the only company that makes a supercharger.

The only way to get significant increase in speed is a supercharger.

I also own a VR6 Jetta - Wife's car.

The VR6 is a great engine, but you can tell it is not made by Audi. Lots of people are mislead into thinking that the VWs are even in the ball park of an Audi, which they are not. With Audi you get a tru geman luxury sports sedan.

Extra cost, but the Audi has much better handling and is faster then the VR6.

2.8 here too, they are similar to the VW VR6 in power, and to get a good exhaust note, you gota get an aftermarket exhaust, like miltek.
