I believe that program is a 1bar program (which is 14.7psi), so everything should be fine.

Don't worry, because boosting more than that is useless on your K03, and even if you boost more, it will not provide any increased power.

    is it peaking at 15psi?

my apr chip peaks at almost 20psi and holds at around 16psi.

if you're holding at 15psi, that may be around where it should be. If you're peaking at 15psi.... that sounds a little bit low.

Which program are you running..... mine's the 93oct one...
APR 93 Octane Chip, VDO Boost Gauge, 710N, Koni C/O's, Carbonio CAI, High Flow Coconut air freshener.

60% of the time, it works EVERY time.

i don't have the APR, i just got the GIAC 2 days ago. mine peaks at 17-18 and i doubt that 2-3 PSI makes much of a difference.

im non drive by wire so i think that means that i have the 91 octane program.

also the thing is, i dont think that i am spiking at all. the needle never goes beyond the 15 psi mark. when in something like third gear (a tall enough gear to actually have time to see what the gauge is reading for the duration), the boost reaches 15 and stays there. it does not shoot up then drop down a few psi and then hold there which is what i believe it should do when it "spikes."

    can anyone explain this?

In certain gears, when you first really hammer it, you sometimes see the gauge fly up, or "spike". It's quite meaningless, since it's not sustainable boost. The really number you care about is what you hold, and how quickly it comes on.

Again, boosting in the high teens and 20's does not mean you're making more power. It just means your turbo is blowing more hot air. The K03 is happiest around 12-14psi. The sport K03s can handle a bit more and still be efficient.

It may. But some have had said they run it with no problems. If you're not chipped, then you shouldnt' have to worry about it.

You have to be careful if you're chipped, since sometimes it can conflict with programming. Rumor has it that chip software was written assuming the stock N75 valve would be in place, so it would not account for the more aggressive J valve, which can cause higher spikes that may throw you into limp mode.
