Well hears my story:
I was on my way home from school, this really long straight road between two towns, and
this bike keeps acting like he want to race. So I'm thinking "OK, it's Friday, nice and sunny, why not?" So we take off, when we frist get on it he shoots away from me, obviously, but I catch back up and were just messin around. Well were crusin at around 130 the majority of the road. Hes not really pulling on me that much, not nearly as much as I had expected him to be, I guess at those speeds that bike didn't really have too much power left. Well anyways, we pass this off duty cop somewhere along the way, and he's trying and trying to catch up to us in his Chevy truck. Well when you first come into manchester the High School is on the right, so the speed limit drops from 55 to 15 for a short section of the road when school is letting out or starting. Well he, the cop, radioed ahead to some other cops in the school zone directing trafic. So as we come into the school zone I see one of the cops turn on his lights, so I go from the left lane to the right lane and turn down a road that my bank is on. I did need to do some banking but wasn't planning on it at that perticular moment. Well the "real" cop goes after the guy on the bike, and the cop in the truck gets me after I pull into the bank. We both got tickets for reckless driving.
How I got out of it I don't really know. I went to court and the judge said, "what would you like to do about this?" and I told him that I would like to keep it off my record if at all possible. And he more or less said "OK" I paid $87.75 court cost fees, and it's not on my record. I guess I just go really lucky. Needless to say, I did learn my lesson and havnen't done too much speeding latley....
