fs: Tablet PC's

I'm selling some tablet PC's. Let me know if you anyone is interested. I got them at a good price at a liquidation sale. They retailed 2 years ago for 3100. I'm selling them for 600. Probably no one has any use for them but I thought I would toss it out there.

They are Fujitsu ST3500 and have the following specs:

• 500 MHz Intel Celeron Processor
• 256 MB RAM
• Windows 2000
• 15GB Shock-Mounted Hard Drive
• Option: 10.4" XGA (1024x768) TFT
• Option: 10.4" SVGA (800x600) TFT Color Display
• 3.2 lbs.

I also have 3 Tablet PCs for sale if anyone is interested. They are Compaq/HP TC1000s with 1Ghz Transmeta Crusoe processor.
Comes with Sylus, WinXP Tablet Edition, 30MB HD. Asking $700 each OBO.

i assume u mean 30GB instead of MB....

question for both sellers... how thin can u write on them?

looking ot take lecture nots on one, but have heard that the stylus writes too thick and becomes hard to read...

i'd appreciate any info

Just an FYI... these technically are NOT "Tablet PCs". The only devices that can carry the Tablet PC moniker run Windows XP Tablet PC Edition.

And do you know if these use a touch-screen, a battery-powered pen, or an active digitizer?

Tablet PCs are requird to use an active digitizer (no battery in the pen. not a touch screen). Touch screens are really bad for writing on and battery-powered RF pens are a pain and not as accurate.

Personally I think your prices are a little steep for such outdated technology. I recently sold a P4 2.0Ghz laptop with 512MB memory, a 40GB 5400RPM HD, DVD/CDRW, 15" WXGA screen, Geforce 4 Go 460 64MB chip, and harmon kardon speakers for $600.

Personally I couldn't see anyone paying more than $400 for one of these, if that.

But of course, you're free to ask whatever you wish :)

I don't believe that is correct. Today's Tablet PC's may need to run XP Tablet PC edition, however, Fujitsu's 3500R IS a Tablet PC. Regardless, you should express your concerns to Fujitsu immediately as they have been using the Tablet PC moniker from day one. (regardless of software or pen technology)

The input method is Stylus, Touch-Screen

Personally, I have sold several at 550. However, I will offer the 3500R here for $500 and the 3400 for $450
