I propose the forum allow embedding of youtube videos.

I don't think they will cause too much of a ruckus, all the other forums i frequent with embedding enabled works just dandy. Why?

One: because the eye candy forum doesn't allow just posting links, and youtube videos will be just links, so thats against the rules. Theres a lot of G rated eye candy youtube videos to share.

Two: it'll stop the rick rolling shit.
Three: I can use this picture again:

    Thanks. Later.

Slightly old thread, only 13.5yrs but uh... in the current version of the forum is there any way at all to allow linking to YouTube videos without expanding them? It's hard to just reference a video (when you don't want it disrupting the paragraph of text) if it's always embedded like that. Not only that, but the link text itself gets lost, e.g. when I wrapped descriptive text like "Nick who's on the right in this video" (in this forum post here: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/tt-.../#post25561938) that text was completely lost and replaced with the YouTube <iframe> tag. Is there a way to disable this?
