    question about a/c relays?

i had never heard of them, but my friend tells me that the problem i have with my a/c is that the relays might be bad or burned out. My a/c isn't working. there is pressure and it doesn't leak. The comnpressor works but it only blows outside air temp or if i speed up it tends to get cooler but not cold as an a/c should be. i took it to Rusnak in Pasadena and after having the car for a week, they couldn't fix it. Anyone know where these relays are found in the car and how easy they are to replace? Any help is sooo appreciated. thanks for your help..

The fuse/relay panel is under the driver's side knee-bolster. There should be a "map" on the fuse panel cover you pull off that tells you what goes where (ie, which fuse to replace)
