    K&N Drop-In Filter

What is everyone's experience with these? I went ahead and ordered one, because I needed to replace my air filter anyway.

Will I notice a significant gain in HP or sound with my 30v? I'm sure it'll be a lot better because my air filter is dirtier than a saigon whore.

I found that my 12V became sluggish (... more than normal) I plan on getting a stock air filter if I can't finger up a cold-air system for mine. Even if I can figure it out, I'll most likely install the cold air ducting and leave the stock filter.
    Thank you: MatrixIntegrated

before ppl come in here whore it all with stock is the best/CAIs are the best yada yada blahblahblah.....

i just want to say.... the K&N is probably better than your stock dirty filter. just be careful later when u clean it... make sure you dont get oil on your sensors...
otherwise... dont worry about whats going to make you 1 hp more because we all know A4s are still not going to beat anything significant with stock filter or k&n filter or evom intake or whatever filter you put in your car, unless its a civic. but if the civic has a CAI then your screwed.

The ITG drop-in is another great option. With the ITG foam, you don't have to worry about the oil from the K&N gunking up your MAF, and it's a lifetime part. A lot of times the K&N oil doesn't cause problems right away, but over a longer period, it can being to cause problems with the sensor.

I have a 30v with the K&N filter. You really won't notice an increase in HP, but DRA4 is correct that you will rev a little faster. I think it makes the enigine sound a little different as well.

All in all you should be happy with it.
