New iPod out...

i like the 2nd generation ipod better than this new one. its not that different sept the buttons.

just got a 15gb couple days ago.. haven't opened it yet. I think i'll stick with mine. I like the design better and am not too hot on the buttons being incorporated into the scroll wheel. I hope I can take it back in and maybe get a price adjustment or an upgrade because of this.

the scroll wheel buttons are nice because it'd be easier to remember what's what. when you want to switch a song without looking, remembering what's pause/play, forward and menu is a pain.

they're supposed to do the wifi base station next.

Just got back from the Apple store. They are doing price adjustments and other such things to accomodate this change over. I traded my 15gb iPod in for a 20gb iPod at no cost, just a straight swap. They were very accomodating and I appreciate their help and kindness.

me 4, I will just stick with my huge rio riot. If you havent seen it, google it, it is pretty big and whenever i use it people ask if its some kind of game boy but the playlist option on it is way better than the ipod's.
