    Slipping Trans (Auto)

My tranmission seems to be slipping around 1000 rpm...right before it kicks into second. I only feel a little kick right under the seat while in manual (seems to be fine when I swith to trip). I took it to the deals twice to have a look see, and they keep telling me this is normal. I honestly think they are B.S. b/c my warranty is almost up and I don't think they wanna fix/replace my trans. I am able to replicate it over and over again by punching on the gas around a 1000rpm's and just letting off the gas.

The dealer guy said that his is a 98 and it does the same thing...did anyone ever encounter such a thing.

My car is nearing 100K, which is when my warranty is up. Please advise on what I should do if this is a bigger problem than I am thinking.

Take it to another stealership.... OR have them check it out talk to the service manager. Complain do whatever you need to do to get the job done and get your stuff fixed.

Take it to a different dealer. Most likely they don't want to do the job,, so they are telling you it is fine. So they can make some money on you with it goes completely. Cause hopefully then you are out of waranty.
