diverter valve questions

i bought a forge 007 diverter valve, and when i took off the other one the diverter valve inlets would not fit into the intake or the other pipe...any one know

I put on one recently too....you're gonna need new hose clamps...some maybe be thoseone time use ones.

If it's actually getting it to fit...just finger some motor oil or lubricant around the edges and slip it on...the little inlet hose is the hardest :\. Good luck!
