Clear Corners Question

Hey there,

I have a 99.5 Audi 2.8L Quattro and I would like to get rid of the orange crap on the sides of my headlights. Some one told me something about silicone and a drill?!? How do you guys all go about making the corners clear? Do I need to buy anything or can I simply remove it? Thanks a bunch for any help ya give me!

How does clear corners impact the turning lights visibility?

I've no idea of the potential visiblity loss due to removing the orange plate?

I know I should not care but I do ;)

I've OEM Xenon's light (1 piece headlight) - the mod can be done on these, right? It sounds like it according to the article...just checking...
