I have the chrome door trim. I greatly prefer the all black style. does anyone know if I can remove just the stainless trim or will it leave some unsightly clips? what is the solution? Thanks, Vince..

I have the wood finish and there seems to be hairline splits here and there. Any ideas if priming and painting will conceal these splits (trying to go all black).

you r talking about something totally different but it applies as well. he was talking about the outside trim not the interior trim.
