[AE Performance]

The stock diverter valve in Audis is prone to tearing and not holding boost in chipped cars. It is highly recommended that any chipped car that is producing more than factory boost upgrades the diverter valve to ensure that it holds boost. One notable symptom of a torn or failing valve is a distinct honking sound you will hear when the car goes into boost.

Forge 007P Diverter Valve in Black or Polished - $125 + Shipping.

Unfortunately, this valve will not work in your car because you have a 2.0T which uses a different type of diverter valve. Forge does offer a solution for your car, however it is out of stock until mid august. Shoot me an email if you would like more information regarding it.

This valve is a recirculating diverter valve which does not release any boost pressure into the atmosphere. It makes a short audible sound when you let off the gas, however, it is nothing near the sound a blow off valve makes. We do not recommend running blow off valves on any Audi application.

It is louder if you couple it with an open element intake system. With the stock intake it makes a slightly audible "psh" sound when shifting while in boost.

What's the benefit you will get from this DV? How can you compare this with APR R1? What's the differences between stock DV? Noise? I am currently running 710N, is there a big improve if I change mine to Forge DV?

The benefits of the 710N are that they are adjustable with the Forge tuning kit to adjust for higher boost applications, they are also serviceable. The valve comes apart and you can clean and re-grease it so that you will never need to buy another diverter valve again, whereas with a 710N it will eventually wear out and require a new one. Also, the Forge valve uses a plunger type design that is more efficient than the diaphragm design that the 710N uses because it is not prone to tearing like the diaphragm in the 710, or the stock valve as well. Addressing the noise- the Forge does make a bit more noise than a stock Diverter valve, however, it isnt loud at all and it is only audible on chipped cars are higher boost. I have personally used Forge 007 valves in my last 2 Audis and have had no problems and have personally noted that it holds boost much better than the stock valve. I recommend installing it in the reverse direction of the stock valve as I have found it to work most efficiently this way.

No ignorance at all, my friend. The reason the orders listed all show 2 valves is because coincidentally all of those people have B5 S4s which need 2 valves. The A4 only uses 1 valve.

We should have a handful of these valves in stock next week, and the group buy price will be good for anyone who orders before the end of september. We will begin shipping as soon as the shipment arrives.
