I've been wanting to know what the advantages to the S/S brakelines are and if it's worth getting. Also i need to know if buying upgraded slotted rotors would make much of a diference.
    Thanks

it will make a difference. you'll probably want to upgrade your pad and brake fluid too. it a good idea to do this if you have a bigger turbo, people tend to mash the pedal more when their cars are much faster. you'll probably want to stop alot faster too.

SS lines will make the brake pedel feel firmer, less spongy. Slotted rotors will make a difference if they have bigger calipers/pads but you'll feel the difference mostly only if you brake hard repeatedly--less fade. If you just want to stop better under normal conditions upgraded pads will help a lot.

If you don't plan to track, upgrading hte pads, fluids and lines will get you the most bang for the buck. If you plan to track, then getting better rotors (slotted) will reduce fade - which is the most important factor.

BBK's that are designed for our cars (Brembo, Stoptech, AP RAcing) will help with fade, modulation and even in some cases help with stopping distances.
    Currently:
    2018 GT3 Touring - Graphite Blue Metallic
2016 McLaren 675LT - Mexico Blue with Roof Scoop
2019 BMW M4 Convertible - Yas Marina Blue Competition Package

    Will be missed: 2001.5 Audi S4, 2004 Audi A4, 2004 Audi A8, 2008 Audi RS4, 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4, 2018 Porsche GT3.2, Mercedes C63 Black Series, McLaren 12C Spyder

what would be the best brake pads to get, and is it hard to change the pads on our audi's. I used to do it all the time on my other cars, so i don't think it should be much diferent.

They're relatively easy to change. If you've done them on other cars, you can do it on yours.

I opted for Carbotech Bobcat pads. These are pricey, but they're low dust, low noise, gread modulation and get better with heat. Great for aggressive street driving with occasional track.

Others have used Mintex and EBC.
