Car idles hard when i start first time for day

My car rumbles when in idle only when i start the car for the first time during day. Not sure what it could be. When i give it gas sitting in the driveway and then let it come back down it still rumbles. After I get going though after it stops rumbling in idle. Bad plugs? Bad maf? something?

I had a vaccuum leak and it did that.

I had that and it was the plugs. Might be the throttle idle control valve (something like that) as well.

im going to pick up some plugs. i need new ones i think

Plugs are SO easy on these cars. Make sure that you have a socket with an extension.

I had the same deal, just replaced my plugs this morning and what a difference! I don't think the plugs have been changed on my car at all, and I am about to hit 100k.

im chipped and just gapped to .030ish

I have that same problem, except sometimes my car will quit along with the hard idle. Then when i try to start it again and the engine wont turn over. I turn it off for a few seconds and then try again and everything seems fine, except i will still get the hard idle. Could this be plugs as well?

changed my plugs and there is a new kick to my car.
