    Time for some data logging!!

I want to check the 020 - 029 blocks to see what kind of timing I am running and if the engine in retarding timing at no boost.

plugged it in real fast, ran a fault code list.

No faults were found . . . good deal.

    D,
Awesome, I may never go home. Suprisingly, in BMW country (Munich), there aren't that many BMWs. I see a BMW about as often as a see a Porsche (pretty common.) But even more so, I probably see twice or three times as many Audis.

Correct, also some of the items in the list change from car to car even though its all the same engine. But if you are looking for a particular sensor, its a good place to start.

Most of the desciptions are written into VAG-COM measuring blocks. But not all.

the PDA versions aren't as functional as the ross-tech software.

the eastern pa quattro club or whatever they are called usually does something like that. I think thats what you are talking about. I had a get together at my dads house in phoenixville where a bunch of us clear cornered our lights, but that was a while ago, maybe 2 years ago?

    *edit*

just checked their website, they are having a get together on august 28th in reading....
