OMG My FIRST post...

with my new computer!!! I got a 3.0 GHZ P4 yesterday! $300 for the chip and motherboard. I used my old tower and components. My dad got the old motherboard and cpu I threw his 800mhz in the trash.

I though I had lost all 160GB worth of data after I did a complete reinstall on Win Xp. Turns out I just had to get Service Pack 1 to read it... why is that? I thought I had lost all of my pictures and about 5 GB of music. What a relief.

Anyway this thing is FAST. I can't wait to try out Battlefield 1942. I could barely play that game before.

Damn I want a new computer I keep spending money on mods or clothes. But I guess I really dont need another computer at home seeing is that I am never home and my work computer has a T1 line

im always torn between new computer or mods.

Mods has won out the past few years as im still on a AMD Duron 700MHz at home though w/ 640MB RAM and over 180GB HD room.
